The 10 best postcodes in South Yorkshire for coronavirus

The coronavirus infection rates are continuing to fall across Yorkshire – and South Yorkshire is no exception.

A number of areas in South Yorkshire have recorded a low rate of infections in the seven days to November 17, according to PHE data.

And the 10 postcodes in South Yorkshire with the lowest number of new infections in that time were all in Sheffield.

It comes as we await information from Boris Johnson on what Tier South Yorkshire will be placed in when lockdown is officially lifted on December 2.

There is concern relaxing of rules for the festive period will lead to another spike in cases.

Ahead of new data coming out today, here are the ten areas of Sheffield with the fewest Covid infections.
