Man jailed after trashing exes home and sending intimidating texts

A Doncaster man has been jailed after he broke into his ex-partners home and ransacked it and then sent her a tirade of messages.
Brennan admitted to breaking into his ex-partners house on New Year’s Day this year and ransacking her home.
After the burglary he continued to harass and stalk the victim by sending her intimidating messages and letters.
PC James Housley, from the Doncaster East Neighbourhood Policing Team has supported the victim throughout the investigation and court proceedings, he said: “We take reports of domestic violence seriously and work hard to ensure those vulnerable in our community are protected.
“I would like to commend the actions of the victim in this case, her bravery and determination has helped secure a prosecution.
“We will listen to you and we will take action, for anyone who is suffering in an abusive relationship please contact us.”
Brennan was sentenced to two years in prison and a restraining order to protect the victim at his hearing on October 12 at Sheffield Crown Court.
