Live: Multi-vehicle crash on M1 causes five miles of queues

There are long queues and stationary traffic along the M1 near Barnsley after a multi-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to the M1 southbound between junction 38 for Woolley and junction 37 for Barnsley just after 8am today, November 23.
An accident is said to have “came to rest” in lanes two and three of the motorway.
All traffic was being held as of 8.25am this morning causes long queues, delays and stationary traffic.
The accident is causing queues of around five miles in the area.
South Yorkshire Police have been contacted for more information on the crash.
