Guinness recalls new non-alcoholic stout over contamination concerns

Guinness has recalled its recently launched non-alcoholic stout in Great Britain over fears of microbiological contamination in some cans.
The company said the recall only affects the non-alcoholic Guinness 0.0 drink and not its classic brand.
In a statement it said that “some cans may be unsafe to consume”, urging people not to drink them and return them for a full refund.
Guinness 0.0 only launched in supermarkets and online in the UK and Ireland last month. It was due to be rolled out in pubs next year.
It is brewed at Guinness’s brewery at St James’s Gate, Dublin.
