Doncaster rapper and producer Mistakay charged with child sex offences

A rapper and music producer from Doncaster who has been featured on Radio 1 has been charged with multiple child sexual offences.
Kieron Cunliffe, 25, also known as Mistakay, appeared before Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on October 12 charged with multiple offences involving a girl under 13.
Cunliffe, of Balby Road in the town is a well-known music producer with over 1,000 subscribers on YouTube and has released tracks with a number of artists.
His music has been played on BBC Radio One and 1Xtra and one of his songs was also played during an episode of Coronation Street.
One of his songs released in September focused on the estate where he grew up in Doncaster called Where I Came From.
He has been charged with five counts of assaulting a girl under 13 by touching, one count of assaulting a girl under 13 by penetration with a body part, two counts of taking an indecent photograph of a child and two counts of distributing an indecent photograph of a child.
The charges relate to one victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
Cunliffe was remanded in custody, to next appear at Sheffield Crown Court on November 9.
