125 guests flee as fire rips through Premier Inn

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire at a Premier Inn hotel in Doncaster this morning.
Emergency services raced to the scene of the blaze at the hotel in High Fisher Gate at 6.30am.
Six fire crews from Doncaster, Adwick, Maltby, Askern and Parkway were all at the scene.
Around 125 people had to be evacuated from the hotel as the blaze ripped through the building. There has been no reports of anyone suffering from serious injuries.
The fire is believed to have started on the third floor and South Yorkshire Fire Service confirmed a full investigation into its exact cause is now taking place.
And a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said two people were arrested at the hotel on suspicion of arson to endanger life.
The spokesperson said: “Police were alerted to a fire at Premier Inn in Doncaster by the fire service at 6.44am this morning.
“Customers were evacuated by the fire service, with officers supporting the evacuation and road closures. No injuries were reported.
“Two people have been arrested on suspicion of arson to endanger life and enquiries are ongoing.”
